Charger Benefit Football Game has been postponed until tomorrow afternoon, Saturday, August 24, at 3 pm.

LCPS Parents: K12 Payment Center is experiencing an issue that is preventing transactions from going through. K12 is aware of the issue and they are working diligently to resolve it. Payment can always be made directly to the school cafeteria with cash or check. Thank you for your patience as this issue is resolved.

CHS Charger Football Scrimmage Game Friday, August 16 will now be played at 7 pm.

CHS Freshman & Sophomore Students and Families are invited to our Portrait of a Virginia Graduate Program that has been rescheduled. All afternoon and evening activities for Lunenburg County School students and families are canceled due to impending weather issues. This includes the Profile of a Virginia Graduate Program at Central High School this evening.

The Charger Football Team will start practice on Thursday, August 1st at 9:00 a.m. at the Charger Fieldhouse. Prospective players must have a current VHSL Physical to participate.


There will be a Central Charger Football Parents' Informational Meeting held at CHS in room 104 at 7:00 p.m. on Monday July 29th. Only parents need to attend. Important forms will be given out.


Summer School and the Gifted Summer Exploration Program will close at 2:00 today, Thursday, June 20, due to the threat of severe storms this afternoon. Therefore buses will be dropping students off approximately 1 hour earlier than normal. Stay safe this afternoon.
