Lane Usry is the February Marketing Co-op student of the month. He works at Pennington Seed-a Division of Central Garden and Pet in Kenbridge. Lane is training to operate a forklift. He has been the lead on many projects and is responsible for inventory and creating company flyers.
He will have the opportunity to travel within the company. He has received certifications in Dangerous Goods and DOT-49 which allows him to transport and handle certain materials. He is in the process of completing an OSHA training in general industry outreach.
After graduation, he plans to continue working for Pennington and complete a certification in Cybersecurity in hopes of remaining with the company.
