Lunenburg County Public Schools recently lost three former employees within weeks of one another. We extend our deepest sympathies to their families.
Nannie Sue Bacon Dawson passed away on February 27, 2021. Nannie Sue retired from Lunenburg County Public Schools after 25 years of dedicated service in our Transportation Department.
Arvin Bonaparte Bell, Jr. passed away on March 8, 2021. Arvin drove a school bus while he was still in high school. He continued to drive a school bus route for many years after he came to the school system as a teacher. He was a Business Teacher and Guidance Director at Central High School. He retired from the school system after 38 years of service.
Reginald Saunders Davis passed away on March 14, 2021. Reginald wore many hats in the school system. He was a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent He retired from the position of Director of Administrative Services last year after 37 years of service.
We appreciate their contributions to the children of our county. They will all be greatly missed.
