These awards honor the exceptional contributions of our staff and students across four categories: Administrator, Certified Employee, Classified Employee, and Student. Our winners were recognized at Monday night’s School Board meeting for their dedication, excellence, and commitment to our school community.

🦅 Lucy Hall – Administrator

As Director of Data Analysis and Testing, Lucy Hall exemplifies professionalism, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to student success. She ensures accuracy and transparency in reporting while providing valuable data to help teachers and families support students. Recently, she stepped up as Acting Superintendent—balancing both roles with grace, integrity, and steady leadership. Lucy’s expertise, teamwork, and dedication make her an outstanding representative of the LCPS’s values.

🍎 Jean Kunath – Certified Employee

Beloved by students past and present, Jeanie Kunath is known as the heart of Central. Her dedication to teaching goes far beyond the classroom—she creates opportunities for student involvement, fosters a sense of community, and supports everyone around her with kindness and enthusiasm. Through her years of service, she has made a lasting impact on the lives of her students and colleagues alike. Jeanie’s passion for education and unwavering school spirit truly embody excellence.

✨ Dominique Glasgow – Classified Employee

Dominique Glasgow’s commitment to excellence shines through in everything she does. Known for her hard work, positivity, and pride in her school, she keeps the middle school a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. Whether she’s ensuring classrooms sparkle, helping with deliveries, or lending a hand for school events, Dominique does it all with a smile. Her reliability, kindness, and heart for service make her a vital part of the LCPS family and a shining example of the Eagle Award spirit.

🎓 Hanna Pineda Vazquez – Student

A standout at Lunenburg Middle School, Hanna Pineda Vazquez is a model of effort, responsibility, and kindness. She maintains excellent grades, treats others with respect, and embraces every opportunity to learn and grow. Hanna participates in ACE, tried out for cheerleading, and helped start a writing club—all while staying active in community programs like Lightning Cheer and Lunenburg Girls Softball. Her drive, positivity, and involvement make her an inspiration to peers and teachers alike.
