Good evening LCPS Families. Lunenburg County Public Schools has decided to postpone hybrid instruction until the number of COVID 19 cases in our community has significantly improved. At this time, positive cases of COVID 19 continue to prohibit staffing that will support in person learning in our schools. Virginia High School League activities and competitions will be postponed until hybrid instruction resumes. Students are encouraged to fully participate in all course activities. Meal pick up and delivery, student appointments, and Internet Cafe will all continue as they have been in our existing virtual learning environment. Pick up the book “Chocolate Fever” for your child with activities from the Reading Specialists. Free Disney Series book are available from Virginia Cooperative Extension. LCPS Families--Even though we are not able to have traditional Parent Teacher Conferences today, please know that you can continue to have contact with your child's teacher regarding any issues that your child may have. Good morning, VES PreK & Kindergarteners! Teachers are currently scheduling one-on-one, in-person appointments for PALS testing. PALS is a mandatory assessment for all PreK & K students. VES yearbooks have arrived. You may pick up your pre ordered yearbooks in the office between 9:00 and 3:00. We have extras so if you did not pre order a yearbook but would like one, call us to secure your copy. Please pick up this week.
Grades 3 through 5 may come and pick up a Chromebook case. You may pick up between 9:00 and 3:00. This is only for students in grades 3, 4, and 5. Please pick up this week.
If you have not returned the beginning of the year paperwork please drop it off at the school in our drop box or mail it to us.
If you have any textbooks, library books, or other school materials that need to be returned you may also put them in our drop box.
