Community Members,
Please be advised that Tomlinson Road in Victoria, near Lunenburg Middle School, may experience heavier traffic this week. Please reach out to your neighbors who may not have Facebook so that they will be informed!
Beginning Tuesday, February 17, 2026, VES students in Grades 2–5 will begin in-person learning at the LMS location. As a result, the road may be especially congested during:

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we welcome students back to in-person learning.

LCPS Families and Staff: LCPS will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26, due to weather conditions. At this time, tomorrow will be a Remote Learning Day. Staff should plan to work from home. Pending power outages, there may be a change, and if so an announcement will be made in the morning. LCPS Teachers will be available by email tomorrow between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. for students and parents who have questions or need extra support. Everyone, please stay safe and warm!

Parents and Guardians,
Due to a bus driver shortage caused by a flu outbreak and other staffing challenges, some student transportation routes may be impacted over the coming weeks.
Temporary changes may include:
🚍Students riding a different bus
🚍Buses doubling routes
🚍Longer ride times
🚍Earlier or later morning pick-ups
🚍Delayed afternoon drop-offs
We will notify families of any changes as soon as possible; however, in emergency situations, advance notice may not be possible.
If you know your child will need to ride a different bus or you plan to provide transportation, your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your patience and support as we work to keep our students safe.
Sincerely,
Lunenburg County Public Schools Transportation Department
