It's Teacher Appreciation Week and Stacy Tingen with the Virginia Lottery stopped by to say "Thank you!" to our Teachers! He left special scratch off tickets for our teachers at all four school buildings. These tickets highlight the lottery's support of public education. On behalf of the Virginia Lottery, "Thank you for all that each of you do to help shape the futures of our children!"

The school year is coming to a close in just 14 days. Our efforts to reduce chronic absenteeism are looking good, so don't give up now! Keep coming to school every day! Many fun activities are planned towards the end of the year to recognize our students' hard work. Also, good luck on the rest of the SOL Tests!

LCPS appreciates our amazing teachers! If you see a teacher this week, tell them, "Thank You!" May 6-10 is Teacher Appreciation Week. Teachers work hard on a daily basis, going above and beyond, to educate our students. They mold young lives and give them the tools they need to become productive citizens. The impact our teachers have on our community is immeasurable! Thank you for all you do!

May 17 is the deadline for ALL LCPS Pre K applications to be in! If you live in Lunenburg and have a child who will be 4 on or before September 30, 2019--have your application in by May 17! Contact Meri Page Spencer at 434-676-2467 ext. 2531 if you have any questions!
