Good evening, KES Families! Numerous jackets, sweatshirts, and coats were left at school this year. If your child is missing a jacket or sweatshirt, please make plans to stop by KES this week (Wednesday or Thursday) between 9am and 4pm. Items are hanging in the lobby to be claimed. Thank you.
Good afternoon LCPS Families! Just a reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, May 24, is the last day of school for the 2022-2023 School Year. This is an early dismissal day for students. Central High School and Lunenburg Middle School will dismiss at 12 noon. Kenbridge and Victoria Elementary Schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. Have a safe and enjoyable Summer Break!
Ice cream will be available for purchase on Monday, May 22 for grades PK-5. Ice cream costs $1.00.

Please join us for our final Comet Night of the 2022-2023 school year. First grade is hosting this event and would love to have a huge turnout to support KES and our local Sundae's Restaurant. Comet Night will be held on Wednesday, May 3 from 4pm-7pm. Thank you.

If you missed our LCPS Preschool Recruitment Day in March, you can still apply for Pre-K. If your child will be 4 years old on or before September 30, 2023, they are the right age! Good afternoon, KES Families. We would like to remind everyone that our 4th grade team will host Comet Night at Sundae's in Kenbridge on Wednesday, April 5th from 4pm-7pm. Please make plans to drop by and support our school and a local business. Drive thru orders and to go orders help support our school as well. Thank you!
Lunenburg County Public Schools will be CLOSED on Friday, April 7, 2023. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A CHANGE! Originally, this was an early release day. The VES 2nd Grade Field Trip originally scheduled for Friday, April 7 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 3.
LCPS will also be closed Monday, April 10 through Friday, April 14 for Spring Break. Schools will reopen on Monday, April 17. Have a safe and enjoyable break!

Good evening, KES families. We would like to invite our students to wear their basketball or soccer jerseys to school tomorrow in celebration of their wonderful winter sports seasons. Many are beginning with spring sports in the coming weeks. We are proud of our students for their participation in local activities.
