KES families: This is a reminder that regular daily dismissal is at 3:25. Please refrain from picking your child up from the front office anytime after 2:45 unless it is due to an emergency. Between 2:45 and 3:25 is a busy time in the building as we wrap up the school day and prepare for the safe and orderly departure of our students. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
KES families: KES will not have any after school tutoring tomorrow, Tuesday, November 23rd.
Lunenburg Health Department will hold a Vaccination Clinic for 5-11 year olds TOMORROW, Friday, November 19 at their location! See our Facebook page or the News Articles on this website for the flyer with more info!

KES families: Student safety is our number one priority. Please adhere to the following instructions in order to help us make the car rider line more efficient while continuing to prioritize student safety. Tomorrow, additional personnel will be assisting in the parent loop and signs will be posted as guidance for safe unloading. The gym doors open at 8:25, and we accept car riders through the gym door until 8:50. Please do not begin lining up prior to 8:20. We need the start of the line to pull down to the farthest cone in order to make room for all vehicles. Have your children prepared to exit out of the passenger side of the vehicle, but do not let them exit until they enter the unloading zone, which will be marked with a sign tomorrow. In the afternoon, the same traffic pattern will be used. We do not release students from the gym door until 3:25. Please do not begin lining up earlier than 3:20. While in the line please remain in the line and in your vehicle. Do not park in the parking spaces or pass other vehicles in the line. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to efficiently and effectively load and unload students while prioritizing student safety.
KES families: Students will be allowed to wear Halloween costumes tomorrow. Please be sure that the costumes meet the requirements of the dress code. Full face masks are not allowed.
KES families: Tomorrow is make up and retake picture day. If you would like for your child to retake their pictures please send a note. If you haven’t returned a form for parent teacher conferences please do so tomorrow. Parent teacher conferences will be conducted by appointment only. The appointment options listed on the form were by phone, virtually, or in-person with only one adult per student.
KES families: Papers were sent home on Monday regarding parent teacher conferences. Please return these and note your preferred mode of conference as well as preferred time. In the car rider drop-off and pick-up line we are asking that parents stay in their vehicles and remain in their place in line. Please do not park in the back parking lot or get out of your vehicle. Staff is there to assist students in getting to the vehicles. Our goal is to keep the vehicles in the loop in line and get everyone out of the parking lot as safely and smoothly as possible. Thank you for your help in this matter.
KES families: Next week we will be celebrating LCPS homecoming with the following dress up days: Monday: Pajama day (no slippers), Tuesday: Throwback (any previous decade), Wednesday: Spirit on the Loose (crazy hair, mix-match, etc.), Thursday: Pink Out (pink, pink, and more pink), Friday: "Purple and Gold". Please continue to follow the dress code while dressing up.
