Central High School is proud to announce our December Student of the Month, Christopher Isaiah Kidd. Isaiah is currently an 11th Grader at CHS. He is the son of Ms. Rebecca Nowlin and Mr. Pete Daniel of Victoria, Virginia. His teachers describe him as an exceptional student in and out of the classroom. Isaiah is a CHS Scholastic Bowl Team member and has recently enjoyed serving as the Manager for the Football teams this past fall.
In addition, Isaiah enjoys cooking, and upon graduating, he plans to attend a culinary arts program to become a chef. His hobbies include listening to older music and playing video games. His favorite classes in school are his Culinary classes.
Mrs. Greene and Ms. Knapp will have our K.E.S Book Cart in the lobby the rest of the week. Books will be on sale for $2 each, Thursday and Friday. This month’s focus in Character Education is Empathy. One way to think about Empathy is “understanding and connecting with other people’s feelings.” Empathy is a practice that can help us grow strong relationships. Throughout the school, students will be developing skills like perspective-taking, conflict resolution, and leadership.
