CHS Marketing students visited the Lunenburg Animal Shelter this week. They spent time with the dogs by walking and playing with them. Each class is sponsoring a dog and creating flyers for social media in hopes of finding a loving family to adopt the dog. Our principal, Mrs. Howell, joined in on the fun too. Over 70 students participated in this rewarding and special day.

Over the last two weeks, two members of our CHS Web Design Class have been creating a Website for Community Resource Services, a non-profit organization that provides a food pantry and other resources to Lunenburg County.
Credit to Makala M. and Justin B. for donating their time and effort and creating this outstanding final product.

ATTENTION CHARGERS AND CHARGER PARENTS:
❤️Our annual Valentine Rally for Prom 2023 is Tuesday, February 14th!
❤️If you would like to send your Charger a sucker bunch, cupcake, silk rose or small balloon, message Mrs Kunath by Friday, February 10, to make arrangements. All items are only $2.00 and must be ordered by this Friday afternoon.
❤️Also, if you would like to donate to our prom fund or donate candy prizes for our games on Tuesday, February 14th, let Mrs Kunath know.
❤️The Juniors and Seniors usually raise between $1,000.00 and $1,300.00 in pre-sales during the hour-long rally on the 14th. They are hoping to raise more this year because they would like to donate $300.00 to the recent tragedy in Turkey and Syria. It is easy to look away but that is not what our students do!
❤️Help us help others and have a prom celebration this year!

Mrs. Bayne's Teachers for Tomorrow students visited Lunenburg Middle School to give students in Mr. Sandifer and Mr. Shortridge's classes a survey on learning styles. They discussed the characteristics of each style and how it can benefit them to know and share their learning styles with their teachers.

Mrs Spencer, Family Engagement & Public Relations Coordinator for LCPS conducted a Canva training for Design/Multimedia and Marketing classes. This training will help students prepare flyers for their service learning project at the animal shelter. Also, students were given the task of designing a save-the-date flyer for Kindergarten Registration Day and Preschool Recruitment Day.
