Internships are valuable experiences that cannot only help students develop work skills, but can build a positive network of references and lead to full-time employment.

The Lunenburg County Administration Office is looking for a current 11th or 12th-grade student at Central High School who is motivated and willing to learn the behind-the-scenes tasks of this office.  Students must possess a positive attitude, the ability to be a team player, flexibility, organizational skills, self-motivation, the ability to speak and type adequately and effectively while using correct grammar, and possess proficient computer skills.

*Students are required to have reliable transportation to and from the internship.

In addition, there may be internship opportunities available with Animal Control, Lunenburg County Building Inspector’s Office, Planning and Economic Development Department, the Landfill Liaison, and the Airport Manager.
